About Us

About Doug and his style of instructing…

My first consideration is safety. All of our training will be accomplished while strictly adhering to the FAA’s and the manufacturer’s safety and best practices techniques.

My second consideration is regulatory. My Citation training is designed to meet or exceed insurance and FAA requirements.

My next consideration is experience. I create a personalized training scenario based on your Cessna Citation experience level, type of flying and personal goals.

My fourth consideration is personality.  Finding an instructor that knows your airplane and learning style is critical. I’m equally at home communicating with owner flown celebrities or professional pilots while still being an effective teacher.

My fourth consideration is personality.  Finding an instructor that knows your airplane and learning style is critical. I’m equally at home communicating with owner flown celebrities or professional pilots while still being an effective teacher.

I started the Contract Pilot’s Association to create a forum for pilots interested in short-term flying contracts or providing freelance pilot services. It’s a place to share ideas and best practices about contract flying. All aspects of being a contract pilot are explored. Business ideas, tax benefits, flight training, insurance requirements are reviewed. Whether you are just breaking into the business or a seasoned pro, I try to bring structure and best practices to the industry.
